Welcome to the Avon Guild Website
The next meeting of the Avon Guild is the last meeting of this year, on Saturday 13th December 2025. It is our Christmas Party and begins at 10:30. If you wish to attend then we ask you to bring a plate of food to share, a prize for the raffle and your entry for the competition.
A Community of Textile Makers
The Avon Guild of Spinners, Weavers and Dyers aim is to promote and encourage those interested the art of spinning, weaving and dyeing.
Members are of all standards, from beginners to professional teachers. The Guild caters for everyone, with varied programmes of lectures, demonstrations and workshops. Public exhibitions are held from time to time for members to exhibit their work and demonstrate crafts.
The Avon Guild meets on the 2nd Saturday of every month, excluding August, in the Bowls Pavillion at Long Ashton Community Centre, Keedwell Hill, Long Ashton, Bristol BS41 9DP.
Meetings start at 10:30, workshops usually begin at 11:00 and talks at 13:00.
New members are always welcome. Come as a visitor for a day and see what we do.
